Ice Dragons

The recent snow/ice storm has provided some interesting subjects. These guys look a little out of their element. All taken with my Access 70-210.

I like them as well! It's fun to see and record the little details of life that many people never notice. Thanks for sharing!

My favorite is probably #3 compositionally, the effect is nice being able to see several of the dragons all lined up. #4 is a cool idea but it's just not quite right...too much dead space in the sky, and the ice on the dragon is pulling my attention out of the frame instead of into it. In #2 the out of focus front dragon is distracting to me...#1 is OK but partial elements with lots of detail such as the throat of the other dragon I think hurt the central focus of the image.

Sorry if you weren't looking for a critique , but I thought I would offer my opinion.

Cheers!

No, I appreciate very much the critique. I am glad to know there is something there enough to stir a response. Thank you!
