I don't mind it... heavy fish eye... but you can 'see' the whole church... which I think is what you are going for...

Wouldn't it be nice if church pews were really arranged like that for weddings?

Thanks Jodokast, that's what I was thinking in terms of - not overdoing the HDR. To be honest I'll redo it anyway because I hadn't realise the extent of the difference between the lighting - hence the blown windows.

The distortion is annoying - I'm hopefully looking to swap or sell that fisheye to find an affordable wide angle zoom with less distortion

The windows may be blown, but.........fixing that may take away from it and give it a fake look. Honestly didn't even notice them until you mentioned it. Now, there's at least the illusion that there's so much light coming in that it is really lighting the inside up like that. Just a thought, nothing more. I hope you post up the revision as well if you change it.

I like the shot as it is and I don't think the blown windows should be corrected. But a comparison would be nice to see.
Thanks for posting!

I think the fisheye effect is very much a part of what makes this a nice photo.

Nice. Great effect, nice HDR (although I don't know whether I like HDR or not...)

Still uncertain about HDR but very much like what you have done. In full agreement with others; perspective, distortion, blown windows all work well. If anything, may have tried to add a white balance but that is purely a personal bias - could well do the shot more harm than good.
Thanks for letting us see

Thanks everyone, comments appreciated. I'll post another version when I get to the church again - soon I hope.

Funny about the fisheye. Here I am, all ready to sell it in favour of a sigma 10-20 because of the distortion, and suddenly it comes up trumps! argh!

Nice, not overdone, not underdone and the FE effect goes nicely.
Overall definitely a keeper!
