I now have another lens to add to my "retirement" lens collection.....the problem is retirement is still 22 years away

Thanks for the nice words. I'm sure you will enjoy the K10D and lenses. Yes you are right about the A-50/1.7 - it is a very nice lens to use and gives pretty good results.

That is far better bokeh than my nikon 50 1.8! I'll have to add this tom my lens wish list.

The rose is just beautiful. The dreamy look of it is copyrighted by pentax. Certainly a feel of mystery
