A few insects and flowers
Posted By: rhermans, 06-30-2007, 02:26 PM

I'm just getting depressed, summer started with rain more rain and then some ...
The few times the sun comes through I'm working.

One thing still to brighten my day, the k10d + kiron105mm + sigma super 500
If I hadn't got that flash I would have been completely lost.

Ok I'll stop complaining

Here are some of the few shots I could take the last day's any C&C is always welcome.

Enjoy

Hi Ronny, that is really nice work and that hoverfly is outstanding. I know how hard it is to get them just right.

Take care, Heinrich

I know what you mean about bad weather at the moment. I received a new macro lens last monday and had to wait until friday evening to be able to make the first test shots.

Great macro shots Ronny, I last shot with the hoverfly is excellent. Thank you for sharing.

Great shots Ronny, especially of the bugs, and the "eyeball to eyeball" with the hoverfly is outstanding. Sounds like you are experiencing the same weather system that we are at the moment.

Thanks Paul, and yep were going through the same weather, not as bad as in England, but some people who got flooded are surely going to object.

Hope it didn't cause you to much problems.

Saw the test shot's, looks like a great lens and some nice pictures taken.

I've always tried not to use a flash with macro's, and now after playing around with it I never expected it to make this big a difference. Might be an idea to get around that weather (for as far as the exposure goes)

Rhonny the last one is just amazing and I'm going to cry if I don't get some greater than 1:1 this next week... those buggers aren't letting me get as close anymore but I'll make up for it one day. Thank you for sharing and as always they are all HQ.
