My newbie take on a China tribal dance performance
Posted By: aaronius, 02-12-2010, 11:18 PM

My 1st time shooting a dance performance last Sunday. I used the DA70 for these pics. I find it quite difficult as the performers' movements are quite fast and my camera's AF has to struggle to keep up. I use AWB for these pics but don't know why alot of the pics have a yellowish tint to them. Is it because the AWB of my camera is confused by the lightings? If so what can I do to improve it?

I hope that these pics can still make it. Would appreciate comments on how I can improve for shooting future similar events. Thanks!

Quite a few good shots in this series. The ones that stood out to me the most are the motion and expression captured in #5 and the composition and pose in #12.
