My Daughter & Son
Lens: 35mm Camera: K-x ISO: 400 Aperture: F3.5

Its raining. Just when I want to test the A 35mm f/2.8 outside! Luckily, I had 2 reasonably willing subjects.

No PP except sharpening. Skylight as light source.

I really like your son's expression, and the curtains make for great bokeh. It's hard to tell from looking at a downsized sample on my laptop, but I think the shot of your son may be front-focused a bit. I would definitely try to get him back in that area for some more shots (maybe at f/4 or 5.6 if possible, too?)-- you'll have a lovely set of portraits!

Thanks for the comments. My son's photo is a bit FF'ed (nose is in focus, the eyes are slightly out of focus). That's the only opportunity he gave me to shoot. lol I agree, f/4 or f/5.6 would have been a better option. Just testing the new lens IQ for the most part. Next time!

from what i can see i think you have the same issue with the photo of your daughter.......just slightly OOF on the eyes.......
