Messing with the Fa 50/1.4
Lens: 50mm Camera: K20d Photo Location: home Aperture: F1.4
Posted By: Rense, 02-14-2010, 12:23 PM

Some weeks ago I aquired a Fa 50/1.4. And today was the first day I was able to use it for the purpose I was planning to use it for: indoor photography of the family. These are my nieces of (just) 6 and 9. Hope you like them (the photos ;D)!

PS: adjusted only WB, cropped the last one and sharpened them all a little on export.
PPS: sorry for the Dutch title in the frame. It just says 'Mess with the Fa 50/1.4'. Didn't feel to change them into English

Rense, I love the compositions. However, they all appear to be muted when I view them. I don't think it is my monitor. Perhaps just a little brighter and some S-curve.

Hi Rob, thank you! I think you could be right, but I'm not sitting behind the right monitor to check it. I will see after it tomorrow....!

Hi Rense, these are some great images of kids doing their thing. I really like them but Rob is right, they are a little on the dark side. Nice lighting though, especially the second one.

Okay, based on the comments above, I played a little with the curves. Here are some updates.
