Chickadee and Woodpecker (2 images)
Lens: M 400/5.6 Camera: K10 Photo Location: Waterloo, ON ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/90s Aperture: F9.5

Had a few free hours today so I took the M 400/5.6 out for a spin. Here's some of what what I saw.

Black Capped Chickadee

Downy Woodpecker

I see it is actually 3 images. I'd fix this but don't know how to edit the Title area.

Nice job Tom, I'm always impressed by how close you manage to get to these little fellas.

Thanks Jimbo, Jason.

Getting close to them is part of the fun Jason. It doesn't work all the time though.

Thank you Dave. I actually enjoy using the old glass. I'm just trying to make the best of what I have to work with at the moment.

Thanks Heinrich and swede.

I'm taking a liking to the Chicakadee of late. If you are patient enough they will let you get quite close. I haven't been out much recently so it was nice to have such a cooperative subject.
