And this one that I took this past weekend at the Marin Headlands just north of San Francisco.

The Cormorant is performing nicely for you. Good capture. I really like the simplicity of the background. Just enough detail so you can tell its water.

Both shots very good, congrats. the cormorant shot is one of the better ones i've ever seen!

I think the second one would look good if you cropped some from the left and made it a B&W.
Looks like you have a speck on your sensor.

You're right about needing to clean my sensor. Here's a B&W version, although I loved the colors.
