Jim, here is the B&W conversion using the HSL method...and a few other tweaks.

I like the colour version as much as the b&w. Nice shot mate.

I prefer the colour version over the black & white.
IMO The B&W seems to have most of the higher contrast areas on the right hand side, and the rest of the image is a bit 'wishy washy' - still a good image, but my preference is for the colour version

Well done - I really like this/these images.

Matt, you are right about the left side. Having said that though, it is a true reflection of the light in the scene. Here is another corrected version.

Nice on, Paul. I normally prefer B&W for this sort of thing, but here I think I dig the color one more. Either way, a very good job.
