Pretty close to the sea (series)
Lens: 50mm Camera: Pentax K10D Photo Location: Andøy Norway ISO: 200 Aperture: F8

Hi guys!
Took these a stormy day last weekend.

They`re all taken with my K10D and my 50mm f/1.7 attached to It.

It`s nervewrecking but at the samt time a good opportunity to feel alive

The image quality maybe isn`t all that, but I feel they are representable of the enormous forces of nature displaying themselves

Had a friend of mine with me, on the last picture he modelled to try and take a picture that showed the sizes of the waves better...

Wonderful series. I love especially the second shot, with the snowy mountain range in the backgropund and the third one with the crashing wave. You have captured strong colour contrasts between the blue waters and the sun lit clouds and very dynamic moments. Great.

You are too modest. I really like #2 & #3!

Not a bad series at all. You did well with the exposure on your friend.

Very nice series! Especially number two with the color of the water and the mountains. But perhaps I am a bit biased since I really like Norway!

Well darn, now I want to visit Norway...

I particularly like the second one, the blues in the water are gorgeous, and the contrast of the smooth waves with the jagged mountains is lovely. Great job, the tourism folks should be paying you...

Thank you so much for your comments folks
Looks like #2 is the favourite here..

The waves were probably around 30 feet high
