Geese. And treetops

Hope you like my experiments with this one. Most of the time (99.99999%) I increase the 'clarity' in LR, but in this one I decreased it. Would like to know what you think

Nice picture Rense!
I like the format.
It somehow gives me an old fashioned feeling.
Personally I would put a bit more contrast in the picture!

A great shot - the format and subject, along with fog, provide a calming image - for lack of a better way to say it.

Ah, lovely - you hit the shutter at exactly the right moment! I very much like the crop, as well - perfect match to the subject.

Not entirely convinced about the low contrast - like Iris, I think a little more contrast might be in order... maybe. I see some warm colours in the trees, perhaps if you increased the contrast a teensy bit but desaturated the browns/reds in the trees, you'd maintain the foggy, dreamy look but make the birds pop out a little more. Or maybe you have better things to do with your time...

Yeah, this one is better (imho) - more contrasty geese and still retaining the mist. Great shot.

Funny, I don't see much difference between them. Must be my cruddy monitor. It's still a lovely shot, though!

Thats a great capture rense! I also love how you crop it to make it look like a panoramic.

Thanks Julie! To be honest: there isn't much difference, just a little
