Taken with ambient light in the late afternoon with an old Super Albinar 28mm. (10 points to anyone who can accurately guess the make & model)

It's either fibreglas or got so much Bondo body filler on it...it gives that impression. Jaguar or Corvette fender?

No fiberglass on the car at all period, I promise. Plenty of rust and a few coats of paint, but no bondo. I do see how it appears that way, though. It's a coat (or three) of paint delaminating badly after half a century. I was low, pretty close, and shooting at an oblique angle which makes things seem bigger than they otherwise appear. Neither a Jag nor a Vette; check the photo critique section for another angle on the car. The holes in the jagged metal at the top of the photo are nail holes to hold the canvas for the top.

I thought so...late '30's BMW. The grille work on the side of the engine hood. Beautiful car. First found out about them in the '60's...read a long article in Road+Track about BMW and Frazer-Nash of England collaborating in the assmebly of BMW's in the '30's.
