A Death Brings New Life
Posted By: casil403, 02-23-2010, 05:39 AM

I took this at the Banff Cemetery. I thought it was really neat to see a tiny tree growing on an old headstone. It evoked emotion in me so I composed this shot in a specific way I thought would work. I realize it has a huge lens flare, but I think considering the subject (and look I wanted) it is quite appropriate here. IMO it gives it an almost ethereal feeling and works...some might not like it but I am curious to know your thoughts on it regardless. Thanks.

Great sensitivity and awareness to the moment. If there was a way of cloning out the aperture flare and leave in the rays it would be spot on. Thanks for posting.
