Nature Heron

I went for a walk today with a friend of mine and stumbled upon a nice stash of heron's hanging around. It was a rather nasty day, very overcast and raining spots so it's not a great day for lighting, but it was a great day for bird watching.

Very nice composition, especially like the 2nd photo, great clarity flying away from you. Thanks for sharing photos on a day where I would of stayed inside.

Man - these are cool, particularly the second one. I've yet to catch a BIF this clearly.
