One Zillion Snow Geese
Posted By: Eastern Shore Charlie, 02-26-2010, 07:37 PM

Bored tonight and found these pictures I took in January before the crazy snow storms hit here in MD. Only had my kit lenses in the middle of a very bight day, but a couple came out. These I liked the best....man there were a lot of snow geese to many to count for sure....the farmers hate them....but I think it awesome to see that many birds at one time....

Thanks all glad you liked....when the circle starts moving they do make a racket...I have noticed that Snow Geese they fly in a circle before landing, but Canadian Geese they just fly straight in and land....I am curious why? Does anybody know?

Charlie, these are fantastic! I like both: they are quite different, but I can't choose a favourite. Would have loved to experience this!!

Alfred Hitchcock would have loved that location for a remake of "The Birds." Very nice captures.

Two very nice images Charlie, the first one should make a real nice large print.
