thanks for looking, an old thread, but worth the view if you have not seen this area. Photos taken with my p/s with little editing. Thanks for looking, Bob

Isn't Sedonna the defacto capital of the New Age world? Did you attend any conferences on Purple Plates or the Crystal Skulls while you were there?

Bob are you taking being enviromently friendly to the extreme? A stage coach for an RV?
Nice shots Bob, what is the building in picture 1, love the way it seems to blend right in to the red rock.

Sedona is indeed ultra-heavy on woo-woo. Energy vortices abound, as do maps pointing to them. Shops selling woo-woo are everywhere. There's also a GREAT supplier of real animal parts (skulls, bones, fur, claws, etc) for almost ALL your ritual needs (that don't involve grave-robbing). And good non-macrobiotic foods can be found. Flagstaff is fortunately nearby, so infusions of junk-food and -culture are at hand.

It really is splendid-looking country. I spend a week there in 2010 and will do so again in 2012. My sister lives in nearby Prescott (PRESS-kit) the old state capital. In between are Jerome, the vertical town, another amazing place; and the railway down the Rio Verde, a fun ride; and Montezuma's Castle and Well, must-sees.

The photos above look a little unsaturated. Reality seems more intense to my eyes.

Hey Norm thanks for looking, RR pretty well explained the area. It is a beautiful place to visit and the sandstone rocks are a lot more red in color. take care. Bob

The photos are basically out of the camera, not much PP done, the sandstone is a lot more red than the photos indicate. Thanks for explaining and looking, take care. Bob
