But state rivalry aside - the
Fringe is an annual arts festival considered the largest in the Southern Hemisphere and runs for 24 days. It certainly makes the city buzz - warm balmy nights, interesting people, lots of street performance.
On the other hand, some of these performers wind up in other cities - so you'll see some bits of the show.
