Dreadfull day with rain.....
Lens: 16mm Camera: K20d Photo Location: Noordberg, Heelsum, NL ISO: 400 Aperture: F11

We had a terrible overcast day, with heavy rain all day. And in the end of the day stormy wind. But I wanted to go out, to see if I could make some decent pictures. I must say, it was not easy to get some.... Especially since I decided to to for a UWA, the MC Zenitar fisheye 16mm/f2.8. With a petal shaped hood of about 1 cm, the front group is not protected against rain at all. So....most pics are destroyed because of rain at the lens... These are some of the photos that turned out to be more or less okay..... Next time in the rain, I will take a lens with a hood!!!

I like your forest in shots #1 and #2. Looks like a setting for a Stephen King story.

Despite the lack of Sun, you performed nice work pulling some color and textures out of the dull gray day! The contrast of moss and dead leaves is very striking.

Lovely images Rense - the first two standout with both texture, colour and mood.

Thanks for sharing again - I find many of your images very inspiring.

Cheers

Nicely captured gloom - shows the good things you can do with a rainy day.

I first looked at these pictures yesterday morning and they matched my "gray" mood induced by the fact I was about to figure my income tax. As it turned out - much better than I expected . These images were not only enjoyable to view but served as my good luck charm. Thanks, Rense.
