Posted By: nighthunter, 07-06-2007, 04:14 AM

Not the best light to shoot in,bit to harsh, but have not been able to get out the last week.
My daughter and i saw a couple of whales,a turtle and a few dolphins.

Steve..

The Byron Shire, covering an area of 566 square kilometres, is located at Australia's eastern-most point, 180km south of Brisbane, 800km north of Sydney.
There are a number of towns and villages in the shire, which has a population of 30,724 30% living in rural areas. The annual growth rate is 2%, with a rate base of 13,800.
Income is sourced largely from tourism and agriculture. An estimated 1.7 million tourists visit each year. Thriving home-based businesses focus on alternative, cultural and knowledge industries, with a growing population of artists, writers and filmmakers.
The area is famed for its rural beauty and its beaches.

I love the east coast between Sydney and Brissy ... and north as well.

I love the drive along the Pacific Hwy ... it's very picturesque indeed.
I need to do a road trip and take the camera ... and a few memory cards as well.

Byron area is very nice indeed.

I think it's time to start travelling and taking shots me thinks.

I'll chime in and say I like the lighthouse shot the most. Thanks for sharing this part of our world.
