This is an interior view of Yaquina Head lighthouse stairway, the highest lighthouse in Oregon at 93 feet, built in 1872.

I like it.

The DOF looks a bit strange - is there a lot of selective bluring?

I like it. This lighthouse is just a couple of miles from my house. It's difficult to get an interesting, different type of picture inside of a lighthouse, when you just go on the public tours. Nice job.

We spent 2 weeks exploring the area from Coos Bay to Lincoln City in our motorhome and I think it is one of the most beautiful coastlines in the USA. What we really liked was the access to the beaches and areas where you could pull off of Hwy 101 and hike around. We had mostly clear days during the September we visited and looking forward to spending more time. Where else can you find the "shortest river" and "smallest harbor" in just a few short miles. The aquarium is one of the best we have visited and there are so many wonderful places to eat. Thanks for the comment.
