On the way back from a worktrip I stopped for 20 minutes at an abandon goldmining site just as the sun set. This area produced 155 tonnes of gold from 1875 to 1952. The only things left today is parts of the battery where the gold was separated using cyanide. Unfortunately I did not have much time to concentrate on composition but here are a few photos.
