fall images

These photographs are from around town.... My friend's garden, a local falls and the lake shore. I like to add some saturation for impact and prefer them this way for this type of image.
However I realise that is not every one's taste.
No other photographer has seen any of my images and I am interested in what other members of this forum thinks ...Criticisms welcome (in fact invited).

I like the 1/4 sec shutter speed that conveys a subtle motion to the stream--charliezap

CA-CHING! Cash register rings for both money shots. Love them both. Number two makes me want to break out the fly rod and catch some brook trout!

Thanks Jim. It brings to mind a Monet painting.

Well, saturated or not, the red leaves are well placed in the frame and are a beautiful counterbalance to the blue and yellow in the rest of the scene.

The second image is good enough that, at first, I did not notice the inclined tree jutting into the image on the top right. Not much one can do about that and the composition is well done, leading the eye through the image.

Hi Tony,
The first is exquisite, a lovely blur of textured colour.
The 2nd image is also very nice but maybe a bit flat if anything. Maybe slight contrast needed but that would be extremely picky.
Cheers Neil
