K-7 and tamron adaptall 300mm f2.8. I was quite happy with the performance of the lens wide open - some PF but I can live with that, and I'm sure it would improve if I used a hood. It was hard to manual focus, and too long for the zoo when coupled with the 1.7x af tc.

ah soo posed, I can get my pet elephant to do that every time! No?... ah well, where was this captured, very clever picture. ( By where I mean at a zoo show or just in the cage?)

Thanks for the comments. This was part of the elephant's play time - not a "show", but the zoo keepers did give them some toys and a bit of encouragement. It's at Taronga Zoo. Luk Chai is the baby elephant's name.

That is a great photo with the city vs the nature... some people don't like zoo photos, but I love them...
