Great White Egret

I am pretty sure this is a white heron - this fellow let me get pretty close. I just missed him snatching a bug from the grass. Never did get a good shot of the whole body though ... amateur haha

Fantastic and very sharp.

Now you (and others) give me another reason to get a 200+ tele... what will the wife think?

Great photos Dave. I like #1 as everyone else seems to agree but I also like #3.

Thanks Clicker - he was actually pretty focused on looking for bugs and let me get realy close without much Nija skills (it was Holidays and there were drinks involved haha)

Thanks Ajuett - this was only the DA* 501-135 (A super sharp lens for sure).
