I went for a hike in Lynn Canyon, N. Van, BC, Canada (looks like a Tamron lens name ). Some with the DA-L 18-55 and some with the M 100 f/2.8.

All are here; Pentax K-x Photo Gallery by ajuett at pbase.com

Thanks JLou for the comment, that walkway is just as you see it, very untrue and slippery.

Thanks tootall, there was a wood bridge that crossed the river, kinda shaky when people walked by which made me nervous

Love the wooden path. Reminds me of when I went to SE Alaska years ago. Wooden paths everywhere. After trying to walk through the bogs I understand why they are there.

Lynn Canyon 2

It is amazing terrain out there in North Vancouver. I was there in late October last year and had the thrill of walking across the swinging bridge that spans the canyon. I was with my daughter in-law, who was a race marshal for a 10k cross country race that was run on the board walk that was in one of your pictures. They sure were slippery! I also captured a couple of women who were meditating out on the bridge (forest photography), they stayed there for some length of time with there eyes closed. I would of brought up may breakfast as the bridge seemed to be continually moving. Thanks for sharing your shots as they brought back memories of a very unique place.

Regards

Know the area well. Really tough to get good shot and it could get dangerous too. Well shot considering the poor light. JIM

Thanks everyone. The light is pretty dim in some areas, even during clear skies. All that you see posted and on my site was ovecast. I used 400 ISO and hand-held everything. I know a tripod is a good thing to have... I need a better one for hiking.
