These were at the local minor league park a couple weeks ago. Used the Vivitar 75-205mm with my DS.

This one is through the fence. Took quite a few to catch the ball in motion.

A friend's daughter really wanted to have her picture taken, so I did. It was a pretty long lens for a "portrait" but turned out OK.

Slinky, I hope you had a good day with your daughter at the game. I know it is hard to focus on the game and a child at the same time, and keep an eye out for foul balls. It looks like you may have been behind the safety net, which helps with the foul ball problem.

Capturing the perfect ball placement, with low light seems to be an elusive trek for me, as well. You did good capturing the ball right at the batter.
