Stormy Landing
Lens: 16-50 Camera: K20 Photo Location: Maple Ridge ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/25s Aperture: F9.5

I decided to try anothe rlens. Usually for this location I would use my 12-24. In these two shots I switched over to my Pentax 16-50 due to the rain. I like the sharpness of this lens. About 10 monutes after this the real rain hit. Cheers and yes this is still my favorite location to shoot near my home. JIM

Thanks Dave. I don't use this lens much as the auto focus is not working. All manual focus. JIM

As soon as I saw the first pic I thought "gee....wonder who took these!"

Its my favorite spot for landscapes even though I have not been there. Sure looks harsh compared to the lush, greenery you posted from that spot last Summer. I don't care what lens you use.

Beautifully rendered.
Good images that need little retouching to make them pop.
Typical DA* class - pity about the perennial AF failure.

Beautiful Jim and I can see it's not necessarily the lens...but rather...the photographer behind the lens
