i was surprised that the detail was a good as this.... just a spur of the moment shot... been fascinated with aviation since childhood...

It is cool to see the shadow of the vertical fin and left tail wing on the contrail :-) ... but not the sensor dust :-(

as fastidious as i am... i can't believe i had dust on my sensor...... actually, i've had less dust problems with the k-x than with my k200d.....

Impressed with the quality of this image from the 55-300 as well.
