Posted By: Kingsofronin, 07-09-2007, 04:26 PM

The following photo's were taken last week at the indiana dunes.

All Shots were taken with my K100D and kit lens.
It's amazing what 500 dollars gets you these days.

#1 and #2 don't look like anything's in focus.

#3 would look better if there was more of a definite subject. If it is that morning glory. then crop it.

Hope that helps out.

#3 is my favourite because of those clouds! Very nice!

I think a smaller aperture (f8-f11?) to get the flower in focus with the clouds would have made this a definite home-run.

I agree on all 3. The sky is nice in #3 but the forground flower looks out of focus as well. Also in that same shot there is lens flare. Try watching for that before you take the shot and shade the lens better or modify the shooting angle to the sun. In all 3 the exposures look a little off, a bit dark I think.

1 could be sharper, but could also be ok as long as it got some contrast added in PP.
2 needs a tripod and/or a flash
3 needs a framing change

I have come to the conclusion that my second image is unfixable ()

But I tweaked the other 2 a bit according to some of your comments,
and here are my results.
