A plea for the raynox and the Cosina 1.2
Posted By: Igilligan, 03-15-2010, 11:09 AM

So I just want to once again tell everyone they need a raynox in the bag... Especially now that it is spring-ish time in the northern hemi

I was shooting some shots with the Cosina 55 1.2, and a little jumping spider the size of eraser on the end of a pencil, climbs out on a tulip. So I clip on the raynox and get a decent shot of it even if the Cosina 55 1.2 is not known to be macro lens.

AND A CROP or two

And a few from the cosina...

Dave, what lens do you use the 150 with? I keep thinking I want it, but I have so many Macro variants now that It just seems overkill... but that dont stop me from wanting it!~

Great, thank you. Still wintery, but they promise spring at the end of the week.
For the rest: too busy to feel comfortable, but I refuse to stop making pics....

Nice work Gus ... impressed that the Cosina is that sharp wide open.

I really need to find one.

The images of your daughter is amazing ... some great keepers there for the album.

Howdy you all...

Much thanks for all the kind words.

I wanted to put the full size shot in here so you can see how well the Kx cosina + raynox does.... It crops up real nice...

We are talking tiny spider!
here is the first shot

And the raynox and crop... the kx holds up pretty well...

Love the raynox
