Drops, colours, and an invitation to y'all!

Every week, we have a Project 52 in the Games section of this forum. It's fun to join this P52,
because one's challenged to try new techniques and motivated to shoot things you normally don't.
This weeks challenge is "Abstracts", see the start post.

P52 is open to all: those who are member of this forum since the neolithicum,
and those who joined only today. Why don't you join every now and then? Please feel free!
The only rules are: the picture must fit the theme and has to be shot the running week.

For this weeks P52 I shot some water drops on a cd. My entry can be seen in the P52-tread,
linked above. But here are some redundant ones...

You know I am loving these Macro Abstracto's.... These are so good.

A good reminder for me to play again. I have been so caught up in the K-x and AF lenses...

Tell me a bit about how you are lighting these to get the reflected color without flare???

Thanks! About the lighting: nothing special. Just some natural sidelighting on the cd, so there is not much direct light on the lens. And some are flashed.

Brilliant!
Crisp, clean, colourful and sharp.
Love them - they work very nicely as abstracts.

I was playing around today with this also. My problem is I can't seem to get the settings on the camera right. Some came pretty good, so I will post some later.

Btw, yours are "cool beans"

Thank you Martha! You could post some here, and probably we can figure out what went wrong with the settings of your camera.....
