Who needs an XBOX360 !
Lens: 35mm Camera: K20D Photo Location: Puerto Moreles, Mexico ISO: 100

The only prop used in these activities was a rock Now they have proof when they have kids "....all we had was a rock to play with....and we were happy !"

We were away for the entire Olympic Games this year. We left on the opening ceremony day and came back closing ceremony day. One evening I noticed "the kids" my daughter, (our boy was sick that day ) and the two boys of our friends out on the beach shot putting a huge rock. Well Photo Opp !!!

I trotted out with the K20D, DA35ltd and the 540 Flash as we decided to have our own Olympics (albeit it was more of the summer games ha-ha)

Anyway all at ISO 100 (Doooooooooh) regradless of quailty some fond images I thought I would share

Shot put she wins the Women's gold (and bronze and silver for that matter)

The judges run for their lives

Again the southpaw won the women's gold for longjump

The younger one is intense and had some serious air time !

Ahh brotherly competition , the older one is still the fastest in the 100 yard dash

A fun series, for sure. I particularly like number three, in which you caught your daughter airborne with a smile on her face. Super.

Indeed thanks charliezap - technically there are many flaws with these shots, however they are some of my favorite from the trip.
