Ahhh so your camera seems to be performing fine.. you managed to find a mantis pretty bloody quick!

I'm curious what you mean by "exotic mantis in the wild.' Have they been accidentally introduced into Ca or by permit under a biological control program?

My apologies I thought I put -in the wild- in quotation marks.... It was an attempt by me to replicate shots I've seen of this species in the wild. Besides this species would never survive here in the wild....

Thank you! In these web sizes you can't see all the individual "eye units" that make up the compound eyes making it look a bit soft. Trust me they are sharp as a tack!

Ha thanks, but I defintely wouldn't consider them ugly! Check out those colorations on the first! To me they are beautiful, lean, mean, eating machines

I'll try not to dissapoint Hopefully I'll get that dang K-7 soon, as liveview would make my life SO much easier
