Sunset over St Kilda
Lens: 24 Camera: K20D Photo Location: St Kilda

Hi All,

Sunset from tonight over the St Kilda Pier.
Upset with myself as I didnt bring a longer lens and had to crop a bit.

Cool image./ Hope you moved around a bit. Did you get other shots from this location. Did you use a tri-pod. Thank you for sharing. JIM

Unique PP work Neil.
I like the rendition a lot.
It's brought out the textures and the 3D effect nicely.

Thanks Jim, no I didnt move around at all. Just as we got there the breeze turned to an unpleasant gale and the pregnant wife was a little impatient to leave, nuff said...
So i pleaded wait and wait, and 3 minutes later it was all over. I've been dying to get a sunset shot from here. The worse thing is I didnt bring a longer lens.
I used a tripod and DA12-24.

St Kilda's a brilliant place to be on sunset. Always have a camera handy as you'll never know what you'll see.

Nice....10 years ago, I walked to the end of that pier.....wasn't that pretty that cool March morning, but a beautiful spot, to be sure.

Great capture.
