2006/07 countdown - Montreal
Posted By: godwine, 07-11-2007, 04:51 AM

Took these over the new years last/this year in Montreal. I was lucky (from the perspective of taking good photos) we got hammered with 2 feet of snow while I was there..

nice shots

I agree that last shot is great. Just a suggestion if you get the chance again, try to shift a little to the left and eliminate the traffic light. It clutters up the right side of the shot. I hope you don't mind I cloned out the street light to see what it would look like. What do you think? The first one is also very good and I like the hint of light in the sky. Too bad there was a parked car, it is somewhat distracting but doesn't take too much away from the shot.

Wow. Montreal is beautiful. I went to Toronto a couple of weeks ago and I was really impressed. I should have ventured up to Montreal as well. Great night shots... looks cold though.

Very nice photos, they bring back memories. We lived in Montreal for 9 years many many years ago.
