I was excited to see the results from a recent shoot of a friend of mine who is due in a couple of weeks. I am not usually a 'portrait' shooter so all in all I was pleased, and a little surprised. Shots betlow are with the 35/2 SMC Takumar and the wide shot is with 17/4 Fisheye-Takumar. Feedback / C&C would be much appreciated, especially ideas for further post processing and/or framing.











There are a few more shots (and BW/Colour versions) here but I've posted what I think are the better shots.

looked at your link.. Personally I think IGP2359 is both flattering, and she looks happy in it. Composition isn't bead either. I prefer it over the similar B&W you included.

Mostly, i think your subject was giving you to much of that "you're such a goof" kind of look.

Of the couple of lake shots in there, I would have tried getting one's similarly composed, but where you can at least see her face. 2346 looks kind of like she's trying not to laugh or getting ready to give you the finger.

You needed more like 2159, 2272, or 2359.

Not trying to say they are bad, just looks like maybe it wasn't the most productive shoot for one reason or another. (I'm guessing more fun was had than pictures taken)
