Targeting Data for Seagull Attack Squadron
Photo Location: Kemah, TX

A couple of juicy targets for seagulls. These shots were taken through the windows (probably thermoplastic) of the Kemah Boardwalk tower as it decended.

Hey Jer--How about if I send some of the gulls from Indian Shores to join the attack?--Capt. ZAP

I love the first image Jer. Like it was taking by one of the Sea gulls. JIM

Hey, thanks Dave. The ride that ascends the tower rotates; consequently, the "glass" windows refract differently as the sunlight angle changes. Many of the shots I took were not usable, but some (like the second one) were quite sharp while others (like #1) look OK from a distance, but don't bear close scrutiny.

They'll have to bring some tanker gulls, but I'll keep my eye out.

Jer, #1 makes for a prettier picture but #2 is a better target. What is that second boat used for? Sea going tug?

Heinrich, the second boat is a bigger target for sure. I'm not sure what the power boat, which obviously is a work boat, is for. I don't think it's a tug, but I don't know its role.

Thanks, Jan. At least those gulls weren't aiming at my boat for a change!
