I wanted to try a few shots at the 1/8000s shutter speed of some action and happened to see this skater who didn't mind if I took some shots.

I think the shots turned out decent, but I'm having some difficulty getting quality color at the higher shutter speeds......often there's a blueish tint. Any suggestions out there?

are these jpgs? Did you have the same trouble with the RAWs?

Yes, these are jpegs. Should I use RAW for higher shutter speed or action shots?

it gives more control over the WB so you could work out that blue, but you don't NEED to use it.
