one of my favourite places around here, Big Hill Springs Provincial Park. It's a day use area with many trails, all uphill. :-) On the way I stopped to look at some canola fields,





but finally did get to the park

I think it was well worth the uphill walk Heinrich. I never have any favorites when it comes to your photos I like them all. Well done from the fields to the park. All I can say is WOW. Not only do you take the best vacations, but you live in an area that I would love to see. Thanks for sharing.

I agree that we live in a very nice area but it does not matter much where you live. What matters is what one makes out of it, there is always something interesting to look at and take pictures of. We have lived in many different regions of Canada, from Montreal, PQ and Toronto ONT, to Whitehorse in the Yukon and now in Alberta and I can truly say that every place had it's own unique charm and that we liked all them, mind you some more than others. :-)

Lovely pictures, lovely place. That first picture is great; hope you have made a big print of it. Funny, I thought canola came in a bottle; then again, what can you expect from someone raised in NYC

Beautiful pictures Heinrich, especially the first two with the contrasting yellows, blues and whites of the clouds. I think the second one has its own special appeal; there's something about those clouds. I agree with scott about the last one. The running stream leads you right through the picture.
