Street portraiture

Hello, just one photo this time. Might add more later.

She was making spanakopita, greek pastry with feta cheese and spinach. mmmmmgood.

Nice, superclear shot. I like this shot a lot. And she's cute too.

What lens did you use? And is this all natural light? Or a lot of PP? Cause it looks sharp and soft at the same time, though in a good way.

It's taken with K10D + DA* 50-135mm.
100% natural light - light bouncing off a building behind me.. and the flour acting as a reflector??

The 50-135 slightly backfocuses at close range on the K10D so that's the softness. I selectively sharpened her face in photoshop. 90% of editing was done in lightroom,, fill light, vignette, white balance, saturation and blacks.. a grand total of 2min editing. the b&w version took longer because i was trying to be creative with dodge and burning but gave up and decided to do a straight B&W high contrast conversion via lightroom.

edit: forgot to mention that i ran the image through noise removal in photoshop.

What a lovely photo... thanks a lot for sharing. The post processing is great, the colors and her smile really come out,.
