So thanks to some that helped me out with my pricing question i had posted in the forums. Still might be cutting myself short, but i can work on that. Here is one preview pic and then you can look at the other couple of pics on pbase. This was my first time to really use the FA31mm for portraits in a decent setting. Really loving this lens.

Simple, effective - it works.
Lighting is a little flat, but a touch of contrast could fix that.
Well done Steve. They'll be pleased with your work.

I would dress each parent differently. The matching outfits make it look like a two headed, four armed person holding the baby. Just my .02

That's the same thought I had. It's a great photo otherwise.

Now that you said that i see what you are saying. The family came with just one outfit. Was suppose to have more for the baby, but he had a "accident" so one outfit was rendered un-useable haha. I will be doing more for them probably in 3 months so i will mention it to them about different outfits.

Thanks for the feedback

Steve

Congratulations on first paying gig. Good comment regards matching outfits on the parents. I think even if Dad had a jacket on, or she had a scarf, it would've made the difference. Don't know if that's an idea or not to keep a few simple items on hand to address situations like that.
