Last week, I grabbed some DA Limiteds and drove over to the Varner-Hogg mansion in West Columbia - an antebellum house/plantation maintained by the Texas Historical Commission. I intended to shoot flowers and photos of my car in various locations, but I was thwarted by a late spring (no flowers yet) and a watery sun (which reappeared, of course, about ten minutes after I drove away). Still, I soldiered on and and did the best I could - here are some examples of details of the place.
