I'm normally not a cat person, but I've grown to like my best friend's cat Stripes. She's like a niece to me now.

This shot was desaturated and I applied a Holga look. What do you think?

I'm allergic to cats and I think that's a damn fine pic! The slide of focus to unfocused is just delicious. Really lovely all round. My wife said, "Beautiful! Definitely has to black and white."

I don't know if this would be of interest to you, but we're running a contest this month in which we post a pic every day. Each pic's taken with the same lens. You look like you know how to make the most of a lens!! Anyway, if you're interested, there's a long thread here:

Nice kitty portrait. The B&W rendition with high ISO noise converted to texture reminds me of the look of Tri-X when push developed about 2 stops. It gives a slightly antique look to the image.
