First HDR shots of my ride
Lens: 16mm Camera: pentax k200 ISO: 100

I know it's not everyones cup of tea but I was going for the overdone look. HDR is actually a lot of fun. I used Photomatix.

Nice shots, indeed. I'm a big Bimmer fan and currently have an '08 328i Sport that I ordered a couple of years ago. I posted pictures of it back then, but none of mine looked near as cool as your shots.

nicely overdone. I need to start playing with HDR, how hard is it? Just adjusting dials or what?

thank you everyone for the kind words, it's super easy to do with photomatix. after loading your 3 exposures it is pretty much just playing around with sliders until you get the desired effect. I usually transfer the pics over to lightroom after and make some more adjustments. (clarity, tones etc..)

Just a tad overdone for me personally...and there are halos around just about everything...crank up the smoothing and it should take care of that.

Thanks for the critique Timstone I agree I'll make sure to watch out for that next time. I also should have used a tripod but, I didn't want to look like a dork in front of my own house with a whole tripod set up I was just very eager to try out Photomatix

Look at the crazy siding on the following houses:
Shot #2 - Side paneling on the house above the car's hood.
Shot #3 - Side paneling on the house far right.

Was that from the lens or scaling the image down, or both, I wonder.
