taken with sigma 10-20 at 20mm and cropped pretty heavy
added high pass filter in ps.

Nice one Dan. It's only once in a blue moon we get an electrical storm down this way.

Nice image Dan - love that Sigma 10-20mm. What were your exposure parameters (f stop/shutter)?

Great depth to the image too.

BTW - from the look of the structures around, is this a mining town?

We had a blue moon in January

- one on New Years day, one at the end of January. But yes - your right, the good electrical storms have been a bit rare.

thanks peoples,
MoiVous-Yes it is a mining town,Kalgoorlie ,biggest in australia i think.
im pretty satisfied with the result considering i dont have a release cable yet

and held the shutter down with my finger for about 300 seconds
at f13(which i found to be the best balance for aperature based on the citylights.
the sigma is a very good lens as this was like a 70% crop.
