Famous Grouse
Camera: K110D Photo Location: My house!

This is my first attempt at a still-life.
I placed a piece of white card against the wall, put the whisky (my only non-single malt bottle) on a footstall and aimed an angle-poise lamp towards the card.

is the vertical purple banding on the left side a defect in the bottle or some artifact of the lighting?

Looks to me(the spillage was cause by taste testing )but overall its a great start

Thanks for the comments.

I think that the line/s are down to the lighting. To be honest, I can't recall seeing them in the original RAW image.
It certainly isn't spillage as that is......OK, was, an unopened bottle.
