I think No 4 is very good. Face/eyes very sharp, talons in view, and wing tip just starting to blur to add to the action. Awesome raptor...

The others seem to have a blue-purple cast. Perhaps the AWB playing in the background.

As with the others, I dig the series and particulary 3 and 4. I didn't realize that osprey's have an "eagle-look" about them.

Great shots, thanks for sharing.. I love ospreys. There is a huge osprey nest on the jetty at a jobsite i go to (gas plant so nothing electronic allowed ), we would stand for hours watching them while waiting for permits to work. Especially when they would feed the eaglets, spectacular. I really would love to take a camera out there.

Thanks Kevin...they certainly are awesome raptors! Yes...I was disappointed in the noisy sky too...wasn't sure where my settings were off Still have a lot to learn...but...sure is fun while I'm learning

Thanks Jer They do look like an Eagle thus earning its nickname of Fish Eagle...they are also called Seahawks for their hawkeye when seeing their prey and also for their sharp talons.
