Springtime is coming to the mountains, but it has to keep fighting with Old Man Winter... This little creek was damn cold (I was lying down in the grass next to it, trying to get these photos and still stay dry...) but very interesting in the little ice formations. This was the lowly Mk I 18-55 kit lens with a Promaster CPL on it to cut reflections off the water, pretty much sitting on the grass at the edge of the water. The mountainside was late afternoon, I just liked the light
Green Mountain, in one of the Jefferson County Open Space parks. The stump and snowstorm were taken up in the high country on the way to Nederland.
C&C welcome. The stump/boulder picture will likely appear in the critique section, there are some postprocessing questions I'd like to raise - but it'll have to wait for my day job to ease off a bit.
