the lighting set-up could have been better/different, but I like these anyway. The model was a joy to work with.

Enjoy.

Posing looks good, but a lot of these look out of focus. It looks like you are focusing on her torso on a lot of these. Also, I am not sure whether you are using strobes or constant lighting, but you should take a few test shots to watch those harsh shadows. I think you are on the right path, though

Thanks Ari. The lighting was with strobes. Unfortunately placed too far away from the subject and I didn't light the background.

Out of Focus? I don't see that. Maybe my old eyes? I ACR, I used some negative clarifying to soften her skin. This may give the appearance of out of focus.

Anyway, I've got another shoot with her in about 10 days and, hopefully, the lighting issues will be corrected.

I'm learning.

3, 5, 6, 9 and 11 are OOF from what I can see here.
The flat lighting certainly should be reviewed but she's done a great job!

Sorry to say, they are all out of focus. Work on your lighting. Don't use the blue background with models, it to distracting.

Ah, the power of suggestion!

I see one that's definitely OOF and one that's borderline. The rest are just fine.

I never thought I'd see the day when Pentaxians wanted digital photos to be oversharpened like the Canon camera produces.

You lighting, OTOH, Stinks. The Blue backgrond is just plainly too busy and draws attention away from your model. Use Seamless white paper and light it using a Color gel. that'll work much better.

I, personally, think it's a nice series. Keep working with your lighting.
